Ramiz Almass is redeveloping condos at Patterson Terrace, a former townhouse building. In 2012, Almass began acquiring parcels tied to the vacant building, which had been heavily damaged by fire. In February 2022, the first phase of construction on nine new luxury apartments was nearing completion, and plans were underway to purchase the three remaining parcels to redevelop, pending approval from the Land Bank. The building was threatened with demolition in 2014, and again in 2020 (for the parcels not yet part of the rehab). The condos are expected to start leasing in mid-2022.
