Develop Detroit acquired the Marwood Apartments in 2016. They are renovating the apartment building and constructing new adjacent townhouses in the North End, an $18.6 million project. All 71 units will be affordable, with 25 allocated for Detroit Housing Commission voucher recipients. The project has received $2.45 million in federal grants. Construction was underway in 2021.
