FIRM Real Estate, owned by Sanford Nelson, plans to develop the Glass Mural, a four-story office building next to Bert's Marketplace in Eastern Market. The former building on the site was torn down in 2020 with design plans calling for recreating its mural, by street artist DENIAL, on a glass facade. Detroit artist Sheefy McFly would create a new mural on the upper floor of the building. The project is designed by MVRDV from the Netherlands.
